Ingredients
3 beef shanks (or approx. 1lb beef chuck cut in 1" pieces)
5 beef bouillon cubes
6 onions, chopped
15 potatoes, chopped (1/2")
cider vinegar
Preparation
Bring water (fill pot to cover beef) to boil, then lower heat to simmer. Skim off residue from beef that collects on top of the water. Add onions and bouillon cubes and potatoes. Serve in bowl. Drizzle 1T-2T vinegar over soup. Serve with Italian or French bread.
