Ingredients
4 potatoes
1 medium onion
1 stalk celery
6 c water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
4-6 cobs corn
3 T btter
2 c milk
2 T cornstarch
salt (optional)
pepper (optional)
parsley to taste (optional)
Preparation
Put water, bouillon, chopped potatoes, onions, and celery in pot. Bring to boil then simmer 10 minutes. Cut corn off cob and put in pot. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a saucepan combine milk and cornstarch. Stir until smooth, add butter. Heat and stir constantly until bubbly. Pour into potato mixture and stir together. Can add fresh chopped parsley and salt and pepper if desired.
