Ingredients
1/4 pound softened margarine/butter
1/3 oz package cream cheese
1 c sifted flour
3/4 c ground nuts
1 egg
1/2 c light brown sugar (tightly packed)
1 dash salt
1/2 t vanilla
powdered sugar for coating
Preparation
Blend margarine/butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add flour and blend. Divide dough into 24 tiny balls and press into tiny muffin pans. Mix nuts, eggs, brown sugar, salt, vanilla and spoon on top of the dough in the muffin pans. Sprinkle some broken nuts over top of the filling. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce to 250 degrees for 10 minutes.
When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
