General description of recipe
Ingredients
19 oz can bamboo shoots
1/2 c water chestnuts
1/2 c ground chicken
8 c soup stock
4 Tbl vinegar
3 Tbl soy sauce
2 Tbl chili sauce
2 Tbl oyster sauce
3 medium eggs
1/4 c water
6 Tbl cornstarch
Preparation
In a large pot, bring stock to boil and add all ingredients except eggs and cornstarch. Stir until mixture is even.
In a small bowl, beat eggs well.
In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and water and blend into a smooth paste, then stir this mixture into the soup and cook until thickened.
Pour beaten eggs over the mixture and stir until eggs cook, the remove quickly and prepare to serve in individual bowls.
