Ingredients
2 T salad oil
2 lb frozen chicken parts
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
4 oz can sliced mushrooms
8 oz can tomato sauce
1/4 c sliced pimento-stuffed green olives
1/2 t oregano
1/8 t ground black pepper
1/2 t monosodium glutamate
Preparation
Heat oil; add chicken and garlic. Cook until chicken is lightly browned on all sides. Add mushrooms with their liquid, tomato sauce, olives, oregano, pepper, and monosodium glutamate. Cover and cook over low heat 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is tender. (Check seasoning; add salt if desired. The olives may provide enough). Serve with rice or noodles.
