General description of recipe
Ingredients
1 egg
1 8 3/4 oz can crushed pineapple undrained
2 T oleo melted and cooled
2 c sifted flour
3 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1 t salt
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c walnuts
Preparation
Beat egg until thick and ivory colored in medium mixing bowl. Stir in pineapple and oleo. Sift together flour, powder, soda, salt, and sugar. Add to egg mixture. Stir until combined. Fold in walnuts. Turn into greased 8x4x3 loaf dish lined with brown paper.
