Recipe adjusted for less sugar and less butter.
Ingredients
10 c apples, peeled, cored, sliced
1 T all-purpose flour
1 t ground cinnamon
1/2 c water
1 c quick-cooking oats (optional)
1 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/4 t baking powder
1/4 t baking soda
1/4 c butter, melted or 4 heaping T coconut oil, melted
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Place the sliced apples in a 9x13 in pan.
3. Mix the 1T flour, and 1t cinnamon together and sprinkle over apples
4. Pour 1/2 c water evenly over all
5. Combine the 1 c oats, 1 c flour, 1/2 c brown sugar, 1/4 t baking powder, 1/4 t baking soda, and 1/4 c melted butter/coconut oil together. Crumble evenly over apple mixture
6. Bake at 350 for 45m
